Dr. Jeff Lazarus gave a talk at the Menlo Park Recreation Department on September 16th, 2010 designed to provide parents and teachers with a series of take-home tips they can use with their students to overcome anxiety and maximize performance.

Enhance Athletic Performance and Overcome Sports Performance Anxiety
On June 5, 2010, Dr. Lazarus spoke at an event in Palo Alto, CA to over 80 people including trainers, physical therapists, coaches, pediatricians, and other medical and sports medicine specialists, on the subject of enhancing athletic performance and overcoming sports performance anxiety.   Athletes can visualize themselves successfully performing a difficult play, or performing under extreme pressure, and later call upon this experience during a real game.

Nike Coach of the Year Conference, March 5, 2010
Dr. Lazarus spoke about treating Sports Performance Anxiety using clinical hypnosis at the Nike Coach of the Year Conference in Concord, CA. The conference was largely attended by high school and junior college football coaches.

XVIIIth Annual International Hypnosis Society Congress, September 2009
Dr. Lazarus was invited to present four workshops at the 18th annual conference:

• Treatment of Nocturnal Enuresis (Bedwetting) with Self-Hypnosis.
• Treatment of Migraine Headaches with Self-Hypnosis.
• Treatment of Tics and Tourette Syndrome with Training in Self-Hypnosis.
